Holders of a licence for grid energy production have until noon on 2 June to apply for funding to support energy storage systems designed to provide flexibility to the transmission network. The subsidy, part of the Renewable Energy Sources+ (RES+) programme, can cover up to 20% of the costs of acquiring a battery energy storage system with a rated output of at least 1 MW. Among the many solutions offered by our GAZ Energy brand, a liquid-cooled outdoor container with a 2.5 MW output and 5 MWh capacity is eligible for this support.
We’ll be happy to assist you in applying for funding to acquire a storage system for flexibility. Don’t hesitate to get in touch with us – our colleague Ondřej Zelenka (Ondrej.Zelenka@bochemie.cz, phone +420 601 011 111) is ready to guide you through the process, starting with designing the entire solution to comply with the terms of the subsidy.
